Back End Developer (Java)

We’re looking for a well-rounded Java developer for a new and ambitious development project.

Responsibilities

• Help create innovative backend solutions by sharing knowledge and expertise with the team
• Participate and lead the design and code review
• Ensure optimal performance, scalability and maintainability of the product

Required Skills

• Proficient in developing internet application utilizing Java, Spring Framework writing client and server interfaces using WS/SOAP and REST APIs.
• Recent hands on experience with ORM frameworks and use of relational databases.
• Experience with application servers and web servers including Jetty and Tomcat.
• Experience and strong preference for test driven development and agile methodologies.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle.

Working knowledge and experience with PDF structure, PDF rendering and any other vector/graphic rendering engines is a plus.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of software development experience using Java and Spring Framework
• Related education & passion to learn

• The ability to perform successfully under limited supervision

Senior Customer Support Specialist – Success Manager

Your job will be to help with initial setup, training and to provide an ongoing customer support for new accounts.

Skills and requirements:

• At least 5 of experience in printing or publishing industry
• An ability to learn fast
• Excellent command of English language
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Positive, patient and friendly personality
• Well organized and able to multi-task
• Understanding of printing processes and e-commerce

Software:

• Mac and Windows operating system
• Adobe Creative suite
• Basic HTML and CSS knowledge
• In depth knowledge of at least one web-to-print system.

This position has a base salary and a very achievable performance-based compensation plan.
